Prime Armor’s NIJ 0101.06 Level IV (Model #1023) rifle plate is designed to withstand rugged usage without compromising the ballistic capability of the plate. The Level IV is multi-hit .30-06 M2AP tested by an NIJ-certified laboratory and can defeat M2AP rounds as well as 7.62x54R – B32 API including US Military’s new M855A1 rifle round and many other threats!

It took us a long time and many ballistic tests to create the special ceramic lineup for our Level IV (Model #1023) armor. This design is extremely strong, will withstand multiple hits, and is still very lightweight. Due to the construction of the Prime Armor’s plate the ceramic cracks only in a 1-1.5 inch radius after a ballistic impact. This is why our plate is multi-hit capable and a much safer option than other brands. Strike face ceramic covers 100% of the surface of the body armor plate.
